Abstract:To investigate the meat performance of Tibetan purple cashmere goats under grazing conditions,this study selected 14 Tibetan purple velvet goat ewes at different age stages (6 individuals aged≤3 years and 8 individuals aged>3 years) from the Ali area of Tibet.The slaughter performance and basic nutritional composition indicators of goat meat were carefully measured.The results showed that:(1)There was no significant difference in dressing percentage and meat to bone ratio between the two age groups (P>0.05).(2)The moisture,pH,protein,and fat content in goat meat were 71.96%,5.9,19.56%,and 4.96% respectively,all meeting national standards.The cholesterol content averaged 44.92 mg/100 g,indicating low cholesterol food.The volatile basic nitrogen was 10.39 mg/100 g,lower than the national standard (≤15 mg/100 g),meeting safety standards.There was no significant difference in each indicator between the two age groups (P>0.05).(3)The amino acid content was rich,with an average content of 1.79% for limiting amino acid lysine and 7.61% for essential amino acids.(4)There was no significant difference in saturated fatty acids between the two age groups (P>0.05).Unsaturated fatty acids were abundant,with average contents of 45.32% for monounsaturated fatty acids and 4.34% for polyunsaturated fatty acids.The content of polyunsaturated fatty acid linoleic acid was significantly higher in the age group≤3 years compared to the age group>3 years (P=0.006).(5)The variety of mineral elements was rich,with the highest content of zinc and selenium reaching 29.61 mg/kg and 0.05 mg/kg respectively,indicating a high level.Heavy metal elements were all below national standards.The content of vitamin E and vitamin B1 was high,and the content of vitamin B1 in the age group≤3 years was significantly higher than that in the age group>3 years (P=0.035).The above results indicate that Tibetan purple cashmere goat meat is rich in amino acids,unsaturated fatty acids,trace elements,and vitamins,with low levels of harmful metal elements.Its meat quality is excellent,meeting national green food standards,and it is a high-quality lamb product.

Abstract:This study comparatively analyzed the superovulation effect of Alxa white cashmere goats under grazing and indoor feeding modes. The experimental data indicated that the superovulation performance of goats in the indoor feeding mode was significantly better than that in the grazing mode. The indoor feeding group showed marked advantages in terms of average follicle-stimulating hormone (FSH) dose (150-160 IU), average estrus duration (12h after progestin withdrawal), average number of flushed embryos (12.56 per goat), average number of usable embryos (11.31 per goat), and the proportion of unusable embryos (10%), all with statistical significance (P<0.05). In contrast, the grazing group had an average FSH dose of 138-142 IU, and although their average estrus duration was shorter (4-5h after progestin withdrawal), they had lower average numbers of flushed embryos (8.56 per goat) and usable embryos (7.81 per goat), accompanied by a higher proportion of unusable embryos (16%) (P<0.05). It is worth noting that under indoor feeding conditions, the goats exhibited lower standard deviations (SD) in the number of flushed embryos (1.5) and the number of usable embryos (1.3), suggesting a smaller variability in these metrics among individuals. This contributes to the enhancement of the overall quality of embryos and the success rate of embryo transfer. In summary, the indoor feeding condition, through the creation of a stable feeding environment and refined management strategies, effectively enhances the superovulation performance of Alxa white cashmere goats, demonstrating significant advantages compared to the grazing mode. These findings not only provide important support for the sustainable development of the cashmere goat industry, but also serve as a scientific reference for future improvements in feeding management and breeding techniques.

Abstract:This study focused on the impact of different breeding modes (indoor feeding vs.outdoor feeding) on the efficiency of supernumerary ovulation in Alxa white cashmere goats.By strictly controlling non-breeding variables such as goat age (2-4 years),weight,health status,and reproductive stage,we ensure consistency and reliability of the experimental data.We use a randomized group assignment strategy to divide the experimental animals into an indoor feeding group (40 animals) and a outdoor feeding group (30 animals),and provide uniform nutrition,health monitoring,and standardized supernumerary ovulation procedures to minimize external factor interference.The results showed that the average FSH dose was suitable (150-160 IU),the average estrus time was stable (12 h after suppositing),and the average embryo recovery and the number of available embryos were significantly higher than those in the free-range group (12.56 vs 8.56 vs 12.56,respectively).(11.31 vs 7.81) and a low proportion of unusable embryos (10% vs 16%) (P<0.05).This study confirmed that by providing stable feeding conditions and refined management strategies,the house feeding environment significantly enhanced the superplatoon efficiency of Alxa white cashmere goats,showing obvious advantages over grazing mode.These research results not only laid the theoretical foundation for the sustainable development of cashmere goat farming industry,but also provided practical guidance to lead the industry in the future.They highlight the significant advantages of the house feeding mode in improving the efficiency of overdischarge,and inspire a new direction of fine feeding management,scientific nutrition regulation and reproductive technology innovation.These findings have inspired in-depth exploration and optimization of the breeding environment,nutritional formulations and breeding strategies to comprehensively improve the production performance of cashmere goats and promote the breeding industry towards an efficient,environmentally friendly and sustainable future.

Abstract:This study was designed to explore the potential benefits of alginate oligosaccharides as a feed additive in largescale broiler farming.Despite the fact that alginate oligosaccharides have been confirmed to possess immunomodulatory functions,there is currently a dearth of research on their direct application in the drinking water of broilers on a largescale farm.To bridge this gap,starting from April 2023,alginate oligosaccharides powder was added to the drinking water system in a broiler farm in this experiment,and the weight gain and mortality and culling of broilers were recorded.The results indicated that there was a 0.22 kg difference in the average market weight of broilers between the alginate oligosaccharides group and the control group,and the difference in mortality and culling was highly significant(P<0.001).Additionally,the economic benefits of alginate oligosaccharides as a feed additive were further substantiated through cost accounting.These findings not only furnish a scientific basis for the application of alginate oligosaccharides in broiler farming but also offer a new reference for farmers in the selection of feed additives.

Abstract:The experiment was conducted to investigate the effects of different treatment groups on growth performance, immune function and blood biochemical indexes of lambs. Thirty-six healthy Hu sheep lambs with similar body weight were randomly divided into control group (basal diet), trial group Ⅰ(70% basal diet +30% alfalfa meal) and trial groupⅡ (70% basal diet +30% alfalfa meal +1% probiotics). The experiment lasted for 60 days. The results showed as follows: there were no significant differences in final weight, dry matter intake and ratio of feed to gain among all groups (P > 0.05), and the average daily gain in test groupⅡ was 10.40% higher than that in control group (P <0.05), but no significant difference between test groupⅠ and control group (P > 0.05). Aspartate aminotransferase and alkaline phosphatase in trial groupⅡ were significantly lower than those in control group (P <0.05), triglycerides in trial groupsⅠ and Ⅱ were significantly lower than those in control group (P <0.05); The IgG content of test group Ⅱ was significantly higher than that of the other two groups (P <0.05), but the IgA and IgM contents were not significantly different among groups (P > 0.05). Therefore, dietary supplementation with probiotics + forage fiber can improve growth performance of lambs, improve some serum biochemical indexes, enhance the immune function and body resistance of lambs.

Abstract:The physiological indexes,production performance,wool quality and reproductive performance of Ganjia sheep were systematically studied and analyzed in this experiment.The results showed that Ganjia sheep had a good adaptability to the special environment of high cold and hypoxia.The function of heart and lung was stronger,and the frequency of respiration and pulse was faster.The average body weight,height and length of adult ram were 56.80 kg,74.65 cm and 80.35 cm respectively,the average body weight of adult ewes is 46.62 kg,the average body height is 71.96 cm,the average body length is 79.34 cm,the average wool yield of adult rams is 1.38 kg,the average wool yield of adult ewes is 1.13 kg,and the average length of Braid of adult rams is 30.26 cm,the average of adult ewes was 29.18 cm,the average net wool rate of adult rams was 66.37%,and that of adult ewes was 68.69%.Under the condition of yearround grazing,the body weight before slaughter and carcass weight of Ganjia sheep were 47.70 kg,24.03 kg,the slaughter rate was 50.38% and the net meat rate was 33.6%.The body weight before slaughter and carcass weight of adult ewes were 42.6 kg and 20.85 kg,respectively.The dressing rate was 48.86±3.10% and the net meat rate was 32.95%.The analysis of production performance showed that Ganjia sheep had good genetic characteristics.

Abstract:Abstact: The selection and breeding of Qiaok-type Tibetan sheep has greatly improved the fertility, pregnancy, lambing, breeding, and survival rates of the female sheep population, thereby ensuring the excellent quality of the offspring. In 2022, 324 sheep from the selected core group were grouped, and after excluding some inferior and elderly female sheep and other sheep, the number of male sheep and reserve male sheep accounted for 11.9%, the number of suitable-aged female sheep accounted for 65.7% of the flock, including 13.6% for the special grade, 31.4% for the first grade, 32.5% for the second grade, and 22.5% for the other grades. The number of reserve male sheep and the proportion of excellent individual female sheep among the suitable-aged female sheep increased significantly after two years of strict selection and breeding. The special-grade and first-grade female sheep increased by 3.5 percentage points and 7.1 percentage points, respectively. This improved the overall production level of the sheep flock, reduced the pressure on the grassland, and increased economic efficiency.

Abstract:To establish an effective supplementary feeding time for grazing Tibetan sheep,two groups of Tibetan sheep with similar nutritional levels and the same grazing methods were supplemented with the same amount of feed at different time periods from October 2,2022 to December 30,2022(experiment 1) and from January 1,2023 to March 31,2023(experiment 2).From the analysis of the weight gain effect,the average total weight gain during the entire period of experiment 1 was 4.50 kg,which was 0.6 kg more than the average total weight gain of 3.9 kg during experiment 2.The supplementary feeding effect was better.From the analysis of the benefits of supplementary feeding,experiment 1 increased the income by 57.15 yuan per animal,while experiment 2 increased the income by 58.65 yuan per animal.The supplementary feeding benefits of experiment 1 were slightly lower than those of experiment 2,but there was no significant difference.From the perspective of ecological benefits analysis,by combining moderate grazing on warm season grasslands with semi captive feeding and fattening in cold season,it is possible to achieve the slaughter of Tibetan sheep at the age of 12 months,which can reduce the pressure on cold season grasslands,promote changes in the production and operation mode of grassland animal husbandry,and make the Gannan pastoral area ecologically sound,productive,prosperous,and socially harmonious.Based on the comprehensive economic and ecological benefits,it can be concluded that timely supplementation of grazing Tibetan sheep is an effective way for the transformation and development of grassland animal husbandry in highaltitude pastoral areas from “relying on the nature” to “scientific animal husbandry”,and to improve the quality and efficiency of the industry.experiment 1(supplementary feeding period from October to December)is the period during which the maximum benefit of supplementary feeding and fattening is achieved for 12-month-old Tibetan sheep.

Abstract:To determine the optimal supplementary feeding time for grazing Tibetan sheep, feeding experiments were conducted during two different periods: from October 1, 2022, to December 31, 2022 (Experiment 1), and from January 1, 2023, to March 31, 2023 (Experiment 2). The results of Experiment 1 showed that the experimental group of sheep gained a total weight of 4.50 kg over the 90-day trial period, with an average daily gain of 50 g, while the control group had a total weight loss of -3.12 kg, with an average daily loss of -34.4 g. The difference was highly significant (P < 0.01). Experiment 2 revealed that the experimental group of sheep gained a total weight of 3.9 kg over the 90-day trial period, with an average daily gain of 43.33 g, whereas the control group had a total weight loss of-3.59

Abstract:In recent years,herdsmen along the Qilian Mountains in Zhangye city have actively explored new models of borrowing and grazing in agricultural areas while fully utilizing house feeding for animal husbandry,achieving good progress and results.These efforts have played a positive role in building a new pattern of integrated planting and breeding,agricultural animal husbandry cycle,and sustainable development,promoting ecological value transformation and ethnic unity and progress,and have embarked on a new path of ecological protection,green transformation,animal husbandry growth,farmers’ income increase,ethnic unity,and mutual benefit and win-win.In order to promote the healthy development of the pastoral borrowing model in agricultural areas,the Zhangye Municipal Government organized personnel to conduct on-site investigations on the relevant situation of pastoral borrowing in agricultural areas.Based on the investigation results,this article analyzes the development of the pastoral borrowing model in the Qilian Mountains pastoral agricultural area of Zhangye city and puts forward development suggestions.

Abstract:In recent years, Zhangye City has implemented the overall deployment of regional ecological value transformation, correctly handled the relationship between ecological protection and industrial development, and guided herdsmen to actively explore a new model of animal husbandry transformation and development that combines "grassland grazing+house feeding breeding+remote borrowing". Abstract:Endometritis in sows is a commonly occurring reproductive system disease in large-scale pig farms,which can cause estrus disorders in sows,infertility for a long time,affecting the production performance of sows,and causing great economic losses to pig farmers.From March 2023 to November 2023,the therapeutic effect of different dosages of motherwort and Angelica sinensis and the way of administration in the formula of the Chinese herbal medicine Yiguisan on the treatment of endometritis in sows was tested.The results showed that the cure rate of endometritis in sows could reach 87.5% by increasing the dosage of motherwort and A.sinensis in the formula of Yiguisan and using uterine infusion to treat endometritis in sows.This test overcame the shortcomings of the traditional treatment method of using multiple antibiotics to treat endometritis in sows,such as poor therapeutic effect,antibiotic resistance,veterinary drug residues,easy recurrence,etc.,and achieved the effects of environmentally friendly,precise therapeutic effect,not easy to recur,small impact on the sows and fetuses,and ease of promotion.It provides a basis and approach for clinical treatment of endometritis in sows.

Abstract:To evaluate the in vitro release rate and antibacterial efficacy of cefquinome sulfate suspension. This study used a simulated in vitro physiological equilibrium system and high-performance liquid chromatography (HPLC) to detect and analyze the in vivo release of the formulation. The method of mixing the drug with various bacteria and culturing them was used to analyze the bactericidal and bacteriostatic times and effects of the drug. The results showed that the in vitro release rate was ranked in the order of fast to slow: kw5 > kw1 > kw3 > kw2 > kw7 > kw8 > kw6 > kw4. It was found that kw1 had a moderate bactericidal speed,but its duration was longer,and it could still prevent bacterial resistance from developing for 72 hours. The results showed that cefquinome sulfate suspension had good antibacterial efficacy and could maintain its effect for a long time. Therefore,it is suggested for clinical application.

Abstract:To delve into the development status of the pig industry in Mangshi,we specifically designed two sets of surveys:one for enterprises and another for farmers,and conducted a comprehensive investigation involving 16 enterprises and 60 farmers.The results revealed several issues within the pig industry in Mangshi,including low breeding efficiency and benefits,insufficient technological investment,a severe situation in animal disease prevention and control,and low utilization rates of breeding waste.In response to these issues,we propose a series of suggestions aimed at promoting the high-quality development of the pig industry in Mangshi,strengthening the construction of standardized moderate-scale breeding systems,enhancing the construction of technological innovation and promotion systems,bolstering the construction of animal disease prevention and control systems,and accelerating the construction of livestock and poultry waste resource utilization systems.These recommendations intend to foster the sustainable development and benefit enhancement of the pig industry in Mangshi.

Abstract:Qinzhou area as an important area of Tianshui animal husbandry development, with the rapid development of animal breeding, grassroots animal quarantine officer as an important force to protect animal husbandry safety, directly involved in the daily supervision of farms, households, disease monitoring, immunization, all kinds of animal samples, epidemic prevention policy propaganda work, for timely discover and control the occurrence of the outbreak has a vital role. However, what is the status quo of this team in our district? I have conducted an in-depth investigation on the current situation of the grassroots animal epidemic prevention personnel in Qinzhou District, in order to attract the attention and support from all walks of life to this group.

Abstract:Under the background of new agricultural science,curriculum ideological and political education is an important channel for higher education institutions to implement the fundamental task of “cultivating moral character and nurturing talent”.As a bridge between basic veterinary medicine and clinical veterinary medicine,veterinary pathological anatomy plays an important role in the training of students majoring in veterinary medicine.The paper analyzed the necessity of ideological and political education of veterinary pathology anatomy course,excavated the typical curriculum ideological and political elements,established a classic case database of curriculum ideological and political education,and made a preliminary exploration and practice of the path of curriculum ideological and political education,aiming to provide a reference for the ideological and political education of professional courses and help train high-quality talents required by the new agricultural science.

Abstract:This study analyzed the function and necessity of veterinary culture in class construction, explored the path of integrating veterinary culture into class construction of animal medicine majors, and integrated veterinary culture into class construction by constructing the core values of class veterinary culture, strengthening the veterinary cultural literacy training of the class construction team, creating incentives, and opening veterinary culture class meetings and other initiatives. In this way, it enhances the effective interaction between the main bodies of classroom education, and improves students" interest in learning and their ability to find employment and entrepreneurship. The study concluded that the integration of veterinary culture in class construction can effectively improve the quality of class management, highlight the characteristics of class culture construction for animal medicine majors, boost the cultivation of new veterinary talents, and provide certain reference value for class construction.
