Abstract:This study investigated the effects of yeast cultures (YC) on growth performance and nutrient digestion in sheep. This experiment adopted a single factor design, and the groups were randomly divided into 1 control group and 3 test groups according to body weight. The addition of yeast culture in the diet increased the ADG. When YC was added 2%, F/G decreased by 8.42%. With the addition of 1% and 2% YC, the digestibility of NDF increased by 23.06% and 32.14%, and the digestibility of ADF increased by 31.3% and 47.15%, respectively. Adding 1%~2% YC can change the rumen fermentation mode, promote the production of propionic acid, reduce the ratio of feed to weight, and improve the weight gain and feed efficiency of sheep.

Abstract:This study was to verify the effects of different types and proportions of yeast culture (YC) on the rumen fermentation parameters of sheep in vitro. This experiment adopts a full factorial design, and different types and proportions of YC are added under the condition of fermentation substrate. The experiment was divided into a control group and 4 test groups and the concentrations of in vitro fermentation parameters were determined. It was found that YC-3 can significantly reduce the pH and propionic acid concentration of the culture medium, and significantly increase the isobutyric acid concentration and ethylene-propylene ratio. Adding 1% and 2% YC can significantly increase the concentration of acetic acid in the culture medium under in vitro conditions, and adding 4% YC can significantly reduce the concentration of isovaleric acid. The different sources and different levels of YC will affect the fermentation parameters such as pH, propionate and ethylenepropylene ratio of sheep rumen in vitro fermentation. These results are expected to be used to guide livestock production practice.
Abstract:As an important substance to regulate calcium and phosphorus metabolism and promote calcification in poultry, VD3 has been widely used in poultry feed. However, due to the impact of sunlight exposure, the amount of VD3 produced in animals is very limited, which is difficult to meet the needs of poultry during growth. Therefore, this paper studies the development of tibia and nutrient metabolism of broiler chickens with different levels of 25-OH- D3 and VD3 combined diets. The results showed that under the same nutrient level, the development of broiler tibia and nutrient metabolism in broilers were improved to varying degrees when supplemented with 25-OH-D3 69 μg/kg and VD31 380 IU/kg, but they were inhibited when supplemented in excess. This indicated that the appropriate addition of 25-OH-D3 and VD3 at the age of day can effectively improve the growth and development of broilers, which can lay a good foundation for improving production performance.

Abstract:Tao Tibetan black goat is an ancient and primitive livestock species in Gannan Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture, and it is also a unique local livestock genetic resource in Gannan Prefecture. This paper mainly investigates the origin, distribution, living environment, resource status, appearance characteristics and production performance of Tao Tibetan black goat. In order to protect and utilize the Tao Tibetan black goat, an excellent local breed, this study puts forward measures for the protection and comprehensive development and utilization of germplasm resources in Montenegro in combination with the actual production.

Abstract:In this study wheat variety was screened for cultivate and utilize for planting in the winter fallow fields in the south. The results showed that forage wheat had strong adaptability and high yield, when 25 cm row spacing and 10 kg/667 m2 seeding rate, the average weight of soiling grass and hey were 4780 kg/667 m2 and 1070 kg/667 m2, the DM (%) of wholeplant wheat was 29.85%. Forage wheat cultivated by suitable method in the winter fallow fields has advantages of growing and high yield, they can be utilized to be fresh grass and silage. This review can provide references for production of forage wheat in this and similar spaces, relive serious shortage of forage and other problems in production.
Abstract:In this test, the birth weight of Angus hybrid calves was 32.25 kg, 121.15 kg at 3 months, 183.75 kg at 6 months, 247.46 kg at 12 months, and 402.93 kg at 24 months, respectively, compared with other breeds of cattle in the same period. An increase of 20.34%, 141.33%, 90.16%, 26.07% and 41.38%, the difference was extremely significant (P < 0.01). A total of 4,307 Angus beef cattle had been promoted in the county for breeding with frozen semen, and 3,928 of them have been conceived, with a conception rate of 91.2%.

Abstract:In order to understand the global development of common carp research, this article used a bibliometric method to conduct a thematic search of relevant papers included in the Web of Science Core Collection database and CNKI China Academic Journal Full Text database for the period 1999-2021, using "common carp" as the search term. The data is visualized by Excel 2016, GraphPad Prism v8.4.0 and VOS viewer software. The results showed that 12401 SCI papers on common carp were retrieved through the Web of Science platform, including 2487 domestic papers. While 5817 Chinese papers were retrieved from the CNKI Chinese Academic Journals Full Text Database. According to statistics, Chinese research has shown an overall upward trend in the field of common carp research since 2006, and the number of papers has ranked first internationally. China has strong research institutions, top agricultural universities and researchers in the first class of research technology. In recent years, aquatic and fishery science, marine and freshwater biology, and environmental science and ecology have become three popular research directions. Moreover, research on ecology, pathophysiology, toxicology and other disciplines has also developed to a certain extent. However, the paper quality is poor and we need to keep up with the international research situation in the field of common carp, and further improve the paper. In general, China is moving to the forefront of the world, and has great potential for common carp research.

Abstract:China is the largest country in the livestock and poultry industry in the world. The intensive and largescale breeding model has produced a series of problems such as large amount of breeding waste, disconnection between planting and breeding, low level of resource utilization, and serious pollution from livestock and poultry breeding. This seriously restricts the green and highquality development of my country's aquaculture upgrading, and also poses severe challenges to rural revitalization and ecological civilization construction. Therefore, rational utilization of livestock and poultry manure resources and the construction of an agricultural system of planting and breeding cycles are effective ways to solve these problems. In recent years, China has proposed to follow the circular development concept of "planting to drive breeding, and breeding to promote planting" in combination with planting and breeding, with local consumption, energy recycling, and comprehensive utilization as the main line, to build an intensive, standardized, and socialized system. The combined planting and breeding plus coordinated development model promotes sustainable agricultural development and recommends agricultural modernization. This paper analyzes and summarizes its characteristics by exploring the implementation significance of the planting and breeding cycle model and the current development status of the domestic planting and breeding cycle model. It is expected to make suggestions for the future development of the planting and breeding cycle agricultural model.

Abstract:With the increasing severity of bacterial drug resistance, people began to look for alternatives to antibiotics, and bacteriophage endolysin and holin attracted attention. Among them, endolysin show good antibacterial potential and have certain advantages compared with antibiotics and bacteriophages. The action characteristics of endolysin determine that it needs the cooperation of holin when it inhibits gramnegative bacteria. Therefore, it has been studied to use genetic engineering to recombine endolysin and perforin to solve this problem. In addition, in the study of bacteriophage bacteria interaction, previous studies have shown that bacteriophage genes are involved in the regulation of bacterial communication system, of which endolysin and holin are important regulatory factors. This article reviews the research progress of bacteriophages and bacteriophage preparations, the research progress and application of endolysin and holin against gramnegative bacteria, with a view to providing ideas for future research on bacteriophage lyase.

Abstract:Ziwuling black goat is an excellent local variety with both skin and meat, and is an important genetic resource for the development of animal husbandry. It can provide diversified products and is one of the main material sources to improve local economic development. Due to various factors, the number of purebreds of this variety has decreased and the variety has degenerated. It is urgent to take effective measures for the protection, research and utilization of its genetic resources. This paper expounds the current situation and existing problems of this breed. At the same time, this study puts forward suggestions and conservation measures for breed conservation, development and utilization, which provides guidelines for the conservation, research and utilization of Ziwuling black goat breeds, and lays a foundation for stabilizing the resource bank of livestock breeds.
Abstract:With the rapid development of animal husbandry, livestock and poultry waste has become a key factor restricting the rapid development of animal husbandry, and it is a major problem facing the improvement of rural living environment and rural revitalization. Based on the analysis of the status quo of resource utilization of livestock and poultry farm waste and crop straw, this paper puts forward development strategies for the rational utilization of livestock and poultry waste and crop straw based on the advantages of local resources. Abstract:The yak breeding is an important part of the economic income of herding households in Sujitan Township, Menyuan County. With the continuous development of local animal husbandry, the stock of yak breeding has been increasing year by year. However, the increase of breeding quantity leads to the natural grassland pasture can no longer meet the demand of cattle, while the unscientific nutrition regulation, improper ratio of breeding males and females and diseases cause the increase of Empty?Breasted yaks, which seriously restrict the healthy development of yak breeding industry in the whole township. In order to understand the number of Empty?Breasted yaks in Sujitan Township, find the causes of Empty?Breasted yaks and provide suggestions to farmers. In this survey, 50 yak farmers were randomly selected within the five villages of the township to carry out the survey and analysis work on the number of Empty?Breasted yaks.

Abstract:In this study, the dominant population was determined through the survey of farm rodents. According to the living conditions, behaviors, population characteristics and other biological characteristics of different dominant populations, we have formulated scientific prevention and control principles. Before the control, the rat density in the pigsty was 100%, and the feed library rat density was 70%. Five continuous followup evaluations in January, February, March, April, and May after the comprehensive prevention and control, the rat density decreased to low density respectively. In the process of rodent control on farms, from the investigation of rodent species to comprehensive prevention and control, the prevention and control idea of continuous tracking and evaluation of rodent control effect is ideal.
Abstract:This study is based on the actual investigation of the development status and existing problems of chicken production in Huating City. This paper combines the actual situation of chicken production in this area, and conducts scientific analysis and research on the existing problems. This study proposes to speed up the promotion of finebred broiler and laying hens, improve the ability of disease prevention and control and reduce the risk of disease in chicken breeding. The Tan sheep industry is listed as one of the "six special" industries in Ningxia, which has played an important role in promoting agricultural income and revitalizing rural industries in the central and southern regions of Ningxia. This article summarizes the effective ways to explore the protection, development and utilization of Tan sheep germplasm resources in Ningxia by investigating the current situation of protection and utilization of Tan sheep genetic resources in Ningxia. Abstract:In this paper, in order to fully understand the adaptability and physiological function changes of Jersey bulls in alpine pastoral areas, we introduced 6monthold Jersey bulls into pasture areas to observe the changes in physiological functions, and then mated with yaks naturally after they matured. This study compared the reproductive performance of yaks under natural mating and artificial insemination. The results showed that the conception rate, calving survival rate, and reproductive rate of female yaks under natural mating methods were 19.26%, 25.71%, and 23.12% higher than those of female yaks using artificial insemination technology, and the abortion rate and newborn calf mortality rate were higher than those of female yaks using artificial insemination technology. Female yaks with artificial insemination techniques were 8.54 and 5.64 percentage points lower, respectively. At the same time, this paper conducts a comparative analysis of calf production performance on the offspring Jersey females produced by yaks under the two hybridization techniques. The results showed that the natural mating female yaks produced offspring Jersey female calves had higher birth weight, 12monthold body weight, firstborn colostrum volume, and firstborn average annual lactation volume than those of artificially inseminated female yak calves. 4.92 kg, 21.86 kg, 0.36 kg, 197.89 kg. The data of the two groups were tested for significant difference. The birth weight, 12monthold body weight, and annual average lactation volume of the firstborn calves in the natural mating group were significantly higher than those in the artificial insemination group (P< 0.01), while the difference in the amount of firstborn colostrum was significant (P< 0.05).
Abstract:Gansu alpine finewool sheep have adhered to the breeding direction for more than 30 years after the breed was bred, and strengthened selection and matching to improve the quality of the breed. In this study, a systematic review and production performance analysis of several new lines bred were conducted, and the experience gained in breeding was summarized. This is intended to provide a reference for designing and rationally formulating breeding programs.

Abstract:With the rapid development of animal husbandry, sheepbased mutton sheep breeding has become an important part of animal husbandry, however, due to the changes in feeding methods, the impact of the conditions of the pen, the sheep's abnormal hoof appeared in different degrees, in the meantime, the reduction of feed conversion rate and the decrease of breeding benefit are seriously affecting the breeding benefit. Abstract:Zoology is a professional basic course for college freshmen majoring in both animal science and animal medicine majors in higher agricultural universities. Worse or better results in teaching directly affect the undergraduate students' interest and the degree of recognition for their learning majors, and they are also related to the cultivation of innovation and entrepreneurship ability, as well as the improvement of comprehensive quality. Based on specific requirements of standardization construction and "two properties and one degree" (higher order, innovativeness, and challenging degree), zoology theory course mainly relies on offline teaching, and supplemented by online teaching, connotation and extension of some knowledge point is clarified by the ways of higher order choice question and demanding essay question, organic combination of zoological knowledge points with breeding practice and veterinary diagnosis is concerned during teaching process, and a fair and justice usual performance measurement and evaluation system has been established; The proportion of comprehensive experiments and experiments with designing task in zoology experimental courses exceeds 50%, which promotes teaching effectiveness through scientific research and solves the difficulties that junior undergraduates lack professional knowledge to track the cuttingedge scientific progress. The high standard requirements of curriculum standardization and "two properties and one degree" promote the formation of a new teaching pattern of zoology curriculum.

Abstract:To explore the changes in attitudes and service demands of pet traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) among pet owners living in Guangzhou before and after the COVID19 outbreak, and to analyze the situation, so as to provide ideas and suggestions for the inheritance and development of pet traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) in the postepidemic era. Combining online and offline, a total of 100 pet owners in each district of Guangzhou were interviewed offline by questionnaire and indepth interview. At the same time, 334 online questionnaires were released to investigate pet owners living in Guangzhou. In addition, 10 pet owners were selected from the respondents who agreed to accept further interviews in the preliminary questionnaire survey stage to conduct indepth interviews with semistructured interview method. Descriptive statistics, Pearson chisquare test, visual charts and other research and analysis of qualitative and categorical data were carried out by using Excel and SPSS, and conclusions were drawn. Before the outbreak of the epidemic, most pet owners had reservations about pet traditional Chinese medicine, but after the epidemic, the proportion of willing to choose pet traditional Chinese medicine services increased significantly. At the same time, before the epidemic, pet owners mostly chose acupuncture as the main service form of traditional Chinese medicine for pets, while after the epidemic, pet owners' trust in traditional Chinese veterinary drugs increased significantly. The epidemic has a great impact and change on the attitude of pet owners to choose pet traditional Chinese medicine services and the service mode of pet traditional Chinese medicine. In the postepidemic era, most people have more trust and expectation in traditional Chinese medicine services for pets. It can be concluded that the research and development of pet TCM treatment drugs should be strengthened by improving the diagnostic criteria of pet TCM; Establish a comprehensive platform for pet assisted diagnosis and treatment and science popularization, and improve the publicity of pet traditional Chinese medicine; Give full play to various functions of different service forms of pet traditional Chinese medicine in combination with various treatment methods; Inheriting the essence of traditional pet Chinese medicine, and adhering to integrity and innovation can promote the further development and growth of pet Chinese medicine.
Abstract:In recent years, with the continuous expansion of breeding scale and the frequent transfer of livestock across regions, the cases of veterinary practitioners in Jinchuan District being infected with brucellosis and other zoonotic diseases have been increasing. Jinchuan District has effectively stabilized the animal husbandry and veterinary team in order to provide active assistance to infected persons, eliminate the occupational anxiety of animal husbandry and veterinary staff. It has adopted a series of scientific and effective prevention and control measures. Through the efforts of the past few years, good results have been achieved. The experience of brucellosis prevention and medical assistance among animal husbandry and veterinary practitioners in Jinchuan District is summarized as follows.
Abstract:As a commonly used veterinary injection method, intradermal injection has a wide range of applications in animal clinical disease treatment and vaccination. This is an important part of the animal disease diagnosis and treatment system. However, in actual veterinary diagnosis and treatment activities, intradermal injection has become a bottleneck restricting the effectiveness of veterinary clinical diagnosis and treatment due to factors such as thick bovine dermis, difficulty in securing, and small area available for subcutaneous injection. For this reason, this paper analyzes the characteristics of bovine skin. From the point of view of intradermal injection, the key points and methods of standardizing intradermal injection were put forward. Abstract:The quality and safety of livestock products is related to the health and life safety of the people. It is an important livelihood issue and a social hot spot that has attracted much attention. China has always attached great importance to the quality and safety supervision of livestock products and has carried out a series of explorations and reforms. China clearly proposes the implementation of a food safety strategy, and ensures the quality and safety of livestock products by establishing the strictest standards, implementing the strictest management, imposing the most severe penalties, and adhering to the most serious accountability. In this paper, the present situation of disease purification in livestock and poultry farm was analyzed and some suggestions were put forward.

Abstract:This article uses epidemiological investigation, clinical symptoms, pathological autopsy, laboratory differential diagnosis and other methods. We diagnosed and treated Tibetan sheep who died of unknown causes in 3 counties in the pastoral area of Qinghai. The results showed that the unknown death of Tibetan sheep in 3 counties of Qinghai was caused by chronic poisoning of Oxytropis chinensis. This uses Western medicine to strengthen the heart and replenish fluids, regulate the cerebral cortex, and relieve poisoning. The treatment plan of traditional Chinese medicine to calm the nerves, clear the heart and diuresis has effectively alleviated the disease of the flock.

Abstract:Fuping County is the hometown of dairy goats in China, the capital of goat milk, and the main battlefield of the 100 billionlevel dairy goat industry chain. There are 820,000 dairy goats in the county, and 16 towns (subdistrict offices) in the county have breeding. This is mainly concentrated in Liuji Town, Liuqu Town, Qicun Town, Daoxian Town, Donghua Street Office and Liugu Town. There are 6 dairy processing enterprises in the county, which provide strong support for the dairy goat industry. With the continuous extension and upgrading of the dairy goat industry chain, the number of dairy goats on hand continues to rise. Due to the increase in stock, the incidence of mastitis in dairy goats is higher, which has a greater impact on the industry. In order to achieve "early detection, early treatment, early treatment and early prevention" of dairy goat mastitis, this paper has done clinical research on the occurrence mechanism and prevention technology of dairy goat mastitis, and achieved good control effect. Abstract:Canine blood filariasis is an important parasitic disease of canine which is caused by the parasite of dog filariasis in the right ventricle or pulmonary, the main features are circulatory disorders, dyspnea and anemia. The dog blood filaria is also called the dog heart filaria or the dog evil filaria, the dog is the final host, mosquitoes, fleas and other bloodsucking insects are intermediate hosts. When the parasite affects visceral function (such as tricuspid or pulmonary valve insufficiency), the affected dogs will have more serious clinical symptoms such as dyspnea, hydrothorax and abdomen, and edema of the lower body, acute death even occurred. The diagnosis of this disease is mainly due to the detection of microfilariae from the larvae of the dog blood filaria in peripheral blood. The treatment of this disease is based on deworming, symptomatic treatment such as blood replenishment and transfusion as auxiliary measures.
Abstract:Ductal papillary carcinoma of the canine mammary gland is a kind of canine mammary gland tumor, which is a malignant tumor. It mostly occurs in middleaged and elderly unsterilized female dogs. Clinical symptoms are lumps in the breast, varying in size, growing rapidly, and tumors can develop in one or more glands. In the case of advanced metastases, the cancer has spread to the lymph nodes, lungs, colon, kidneys, and sometimes bones, and the prognosis is usually good if surgery is performed early. This article introduces the clinical diagnosis and surgical treatment of an 8yearold female dog with intraductal papillary carcinoma of the mammary gland in detail, in order to provide a reference for the clinical diagnosis and treatment of canine mammary gland tumors.
Abstract:This study aims to properly dispose of abdominal wall penetration caused by accidents during grazing, reduce the risk of bacterial infection, and improve the success rate of disposal. On October 20, 2022, we dealt with the abdominal wall penetration of Euler sheep in time. We first take disinfection and cleaning, pay attention to the protection of intestinal tube, repair and expand the wound in time, carry out intestinal reconstruction, pay attention to antibacterial and antiinflammatory, prevent infection from provoking, properly protect the wound, and follow up the treatment measures of nursing measures. At the same time, we put forward the idea of comprehensively analyzing the etiology, distinguishing treatment measures, and strengthening postoperative care for the proper treatment of abdominal wall penetration. We fundamentally effectively improve the treatment of abdominal wall penetration during grazing and provide certain technical references.
Abstract:Dermatophilus in sheep is a zoonotic skin infection characterized by exudative dermatitis and scab formation on the surface of the skin. This article describes in detail the clinical symptoms, autopsy changes and laboratory diagnosis of a case of sheep dermatophilia. Abstract:With the goal of cultivating applicationoriented talents urgently needed at the frontline of animal husbandry and veterinary industry under the background of new agricultural science, this study combined with the characteristics of animal anatomy course and established the teaching model of "one center, two platforms, three paths and multiple links" (123X). Centering on the cultivation of students' comprehensive ability, this study utilized online teaching platform and offline experimental practice platform. Using online virtual simulation project and the use of course resources, offline entity anatomy, anatomy association second class three paths, through the ideological and political integration into the curriculum, virtual simulation experiment into experimental teaching and other links, stimulate students' learning enthusiasm and initiative, cultivate students' comprehensive ability, formed a model animal anatomy course teaching experience with the effect of promotion demonstration.

Abstract:In the context of reducing or banning antibiotics in livestock and poultry breeding, the development and application of antibiotic replacement products seems to be nothing but Chinese herbal medicines. Practice has proved that it is feasible for Chinese herbal feed additives to replace antibiotics as animal antibacterial and growthpromoting agents. It can not only obtain good effects of disease prevention and disease resistance and growth promotion, but also solve the problems of drug resistance and drug residues. However, due to the wide variety and complex components of Chinese herbal medicine, there are many links in cultivation, processing, transportation, and storage, and the mechanism of action is unknown. Quality control standards for Chinese herbal medicines are not perfect. This will replace antibiotics with Chinese herbal medicines and use them in livestock and poultry farming.
