    Abstract:

Under the dual influence of natural and human factors, the area of desertificated grassland in Ma Qu has reached 5.53×104hm2. The hazards caused by grassland desertification gradually have emerged, vegetation coverage decreased, natural grassland and grass output decreased, water conservation capacity weakened, wetland area reduced, soil erosion intensified, biodiversity sharply decreased, ecological balance has disrupted, and economic development is hindered. Therefore, the author proposes a "grass irrigation combination" model to treat desertificated grasslands, involving measures such as rodent control, rodent extermination, land preparation, fertilization, re-planting, and enclosure to restore desertificated grasslands;Set up a grass grid model to control mobile sand dunes, and restore them through measures such as sand dune sorting, planting suitable shrubs, mixing and planting grass seeds in shrub windbreak zones, grass grid planting, sealing and grazing prohibition. The successful experimental units of two management models provide a basis and reference for the ecological restoration of grasslands in the upper reaches of the Yellow River.
