    Abstract:

Peste des petits ruminants (PPR) is a disease caused by the peste des petits ruminants virus, which mainly affects goats and sheep. In 2021, in order to accelerate the construction of PPRfree areas and achieve the construction standards of nonimmune PPRfree areas, a county in Changsha City plans to conduct a local compulsory vaccination risk assessment for PPR withdrawal. Qualitative risk assessment through methods such as PPR monitoring and circulation, hazard identification, risk path determination and risk factor level assessment has initially shown that the risk level of PPR may occur after the compulsory immunization against PPR is cancelled. For the middle. In terms of risk management measures, it is proposed that the withdrawal of compulsory immunization in this area should be postponed for one year, and the focus should be on improving policy support, strengthening monitoring and inspections, strengthening quarantine supervision, and strengthening training and publicity.
