Abstract:In order to understand the cause of abortion of meat donkeys in bairin left banner, 1953 serum samples collected from Fuhe Town were tested for Salmonella antibody by enzymelinked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). The results showed that the infection rate of donkeys was 84%, the individual infection rate was 29%, all villages in the town were detected, the positive rate of village was 100%, and the positive rate of farms was 100%. The results indicated that there was a suspected infection of Salmonella in meat donkeys in bairin left banner.
