Abstract:Beishan Township, Menyuan County has started the crossbreeding and improvement of local cattle in 7 administrative villages since 2016, and the work has achieved remarkable results. This has been recognized by farmers. However, some farmers lack sufficient knowledge of cattle physiology. To maximize the breeding benefits by shortening the postpartum recovery period of fertile cows, this leads to the incomplete recovery of postpartum uterine functions and the mating of cows. At the same time, they do not pay attention to environmental hygiene, causing pathogenic microorganisms to invade the uterine wall, causing inflammation of the uterus and secondary suppurative endometritis. This results in delayed or infertile cow conception and economic loss to the farmer. This paper discusses the concept of purulent endometritis, diagnosis of clinical symptoms, etiology analysis and treatment for reference.
