Investigation on Comprehensive Prevention and Control of Kalaazar in Livestock in Suide County

Abstract:

Kalaazar, also known as visceral leishmaniasis, is a serious zoonosis. In recent years, several human cases of kala azar have occurred in Suide County. Tracing back to the historical occurrence of kalaazar among people and livestock, the majority of medical and nursing personnel and livestock and veterinary practitioners in Suide County have conducted indepth epidemiological monitoring, analyzed the causes of the disease, and put forward suggestions for comprehensive prevention and control of kalaazar in the future.
