Abstract:Salmonella is the zoonotic pathogen within the family Enterobacteriaceae, which has important public health implications because Salmonella-contaminated poultry products are the most important sources of human Salmonella infection. The resistance of Salmonella is changing from year to year due to the long-term use and abuse of antimicrobials, the spread of resistance genes in Salmonella, and the changes in environmental and host factors. Therefore,in order to find out the change of antimicrobial resistance of Salmonella in different regions and different years, the literatures about antimicrobial resistance of avian-origin Salmonella published at home and abroad during 2011-2023 were reviewed in this paper, and finally it can guide the clinical rational drug use and control the epidemic of Salmonella.
