Abstract:With the prohibition of antibiotics in livestock feed and the implementation of “reduction and restriction” in livestock farming,fermented Chinese herbal medicines have gradually become a good choice for animal feed additives because of their low toxicity and strong efficacy.This paper summarizes the research progress that has been made on fermentation technology,fermentation processes,and the application of fermented Chinese herbal medicine in chicken farming and disease prevention and control,aiming to provide a reference for the scientific utilization of fermented Chinese herbal medicine in chicken production.
