Abstract:Dental calculus is a common oral disease in adult dog clinics, which is caused by the deposition of plaque and tartar on the surface of teeth after calcification. Dental calculus is the main cause of various oral diseases such as dental caries, periodontitis, ulcerative stomatitis, gingivitis, and pulpitis. This article analyzes the diagnosis and treatment of a case of dental calculus in dogs, in order to provide reference for the clinical diagnosis, treatment, and prevention of common diseases such as dental calculus in dog and cat clinics.
