Abstract:The "Pig Production" course is an important professional course offered by the animal husbandry and veterinary major in higher vocational colleges. Through the study of this course, students will be equipped with the basic knowledge and skills of pig raising, and have the ability to independently carry out job work, solve practical problems in pig farms, innovate and start businesses, and continue to learn. In order to solve the problems existing in online teaching courses, our team established an online open course on "Pig Production". This article mainly analyzes and summarizes the construction background, course overview, teaching design, development history and characteristic innovation of the "Pig Production" online open course. This is expected to provide a reference for other course construction and applications.
