Abstract:[Objective] To find out the prevalence of porcine reproductive and respiratory syndrome in Dali, avoid the mismatch between vaccines and epidemic strains, which will affect the prevention and control effect. [Method] 4800 pig lungs and spleens samples were collected in Dali Prefecture, perform RT-PCR detection through RNA extraction and concentration detection, reverse transcription, specific gene expression, agarose gel electrophoresis detection, PCR product DNA sequencing, and strain sequence evolution tree analysis. [Result] 5 samples were positive, the rest 4,795 samples were all negative, with a positive rate of only 0.104%. The 5 positive samples detected highly pathogenic PRRSV. After Nsp2 gene sequencing, sequence alignment and evolutionary tree analysis, 5 samples all belonged to the JXA1 strain. [Conclusion] At present, the PRRSV strain in Dali Prefecture is the JXA1 strain, and the prevention and control effect is significant. But we still need further strengthen the detection of PRRSV, scientifica
