Countermeasures and Suggestions for the Development of Beef Cattle Industry in Jiayuguan City

嘉峪关市位于甘肃省西端，是一座工业旅游城市，城镇化率94.43%。近年来，嘉峪关市坚持用工业化思维谋划现代农业，紧紧围绕草食畜牧业发展，积极争取燕麦草种植基地建设、粮改饲工程等项目，培育了一批肉牛养殖及育肥示范户，为调整畜牧产业结构、提升农产品市场竞争力做出了极大贡献。实际生产中还存在着一些不容忽视的问题，通过调查研究，提出了相应的对策建议。

Abstract:

Jiayuguan City, located at the western end of Gansu Province, is an industrial tourism city. The urbanization rate here is 94.43%. In recent years, Jiayuguan City has insisted on using industrial thinking to plan modern agriculture, closely focused on the development of grassfed animal husbandry, and actively strived for projects such as the construction of oat grass planting bases and graintofeeding projects. This has cultivated a group of beef cattle breeding and fattening demonstration households, which has made great contributions to adjusting the structure of the animal husbandry industry and improving the competitiveness of the agricultural product market. However, there are still some problems that cannot be ignored in actual production. We put forward corresponding countermeasures and suggestions through investigation and research.
