Abstract:"Pets and Life" is a course with strong general knowledge and applicability, and most of the teaching content is closely related to people's daily life and public health safety. Therefore, the teaching of this course should not only pay attention to the imparting of professional knowledge, but also pay attention to the systematic education of medical ethics, professionalism and veterinary regulations in the process of pet diagnosis and treatment. In recent years, teachers have attached great importance to the ideological and political construction of courses, and have conducted in-depth exchanges and cooperation with professional ideological and political teaching teams. We explore and use the ideological and political education elements in the "Pet and Life", and actively build ideological and political cases of the course. We subtly cultivate professional quality in the teaching process, so that students can establish a correct world outlook, outlook on life and values.
