Abstract:In order to tap into the development potential of the beef cattle industry in Jiuquan City and screen for scientific feeding methods that can improve the utilization rate of forage,we used three different feeding methods: mechanical processing full mixed diet,artificial mixed diet,and traditional feeding in three beef cattle farms with different breeding scales,software and hardware facilities,and feeding management levels.We continuously fed beef cattle for 200 days and analyzed and compared the weight gain effects of various feeding methods.The results showed that compared to artificial mixed feed and traditional feeding methods,the daily weight gain of beef cattle increased by more than 9% and 18%,respectively;The differences were both significant (P<0.05) and extremely significant (P<0.01).Experiments have shown that the technology of fully mixed diet feeding can significantly improve the daily weight gain of beef cattle,which is an advanced technology that can improve the utilization rate of feed,reduce breeding costs,and promote the highquality development of the beef cattle industry.
