Thoughts and Countermeasures of Establishing PestFree Community of Farms in Zhangye City

Abstract:

Animal husbandry is a pillar industry in Zhangye City. Facing the current severe situation of animal disease prevention and control, the establishment of diseasefree communities is the only way to ensure the sustainable and stable development of animal husbandry. The proportion of largescale breeding in Zhangye City is relatively large, and the foundation for establishing a diseasefree community is good. After carefully analyzing the current situation of breeding in Zhangye City and the situation of animal disease prevention and control, we put forward ideas and countermeasures for introducing support policies, strengthening publicity and guidance, and implementing control measures for the establishment of a diseasefree community for farms. This is a suggestion for our city to create a diseasefree community and a diseasefree area, to better prevent and control animal diseases, and to maintain a stronger momentum of animal husbandry income growth.
